Kazakh Central Region Declares Mourning Due to Deaths of Miners

Because of the deaths of miners in the Abay mine, Karaganda Region [central Kazakhstan] has declared 14-16 January as the days of mourning; Rescue operations have been suspended due to a new threat of an explosion.
