Dalkia Wants to Grow Power Farming Products

Dalkia (Czech Republic), power company, plans to grow power farming products, mainly industrial hemp and sorrel, for its heat power plant in Trmice near Usti nad Labem. It plans to grow them on the 30-ha area after recultivation of the former strip mine 5. kveten. Its recultivation is to be started in 2008 and is planned for 12 years. The whole locality’s change into the largest recreational zone in the Usti nad Labem surroundings will cost several CEK bil.
