Hana Mining Appoints Project Manager for the Company's African Projects

Hana Mining Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: HMG) announces the appointment of Jacques van Rensburg as Project Manager for the Company's African projects.
Mr. van Rensburg has more than 16 years of experience in the mining industry. Most recently, he was Exploration Manager, Democratic Republic of Congo, for PANGEA Exploration Ltd. Previously, Mr. van Rensburg was Exploration Manager and Project Manager for Anooraq Resources (TSX VENTURE), where he oversaw the planning, coordination and implementation of surface exploration, drilling and surface rehabilitation work for the company. His background also includes positions at a number of other junior and senior mining companies.

Mr. van Rensburg has been granted 100,000 stock options, each such option entitling the holder thereof to acquire one common share of the Company at an exercise price of C$0.40. The options will vest in stages over 2 years and expire on December 17, 2012.
