KOLKATA: Dunlop India Ltd (DIL) has started talks with Tata Motors for supply of truck tyres, DIL chairman Pawan Ruia said. Some samples have also been send to the Tata outfit, he added.

Ruia said Dunlop is also trying to tie up with Bharat Earth Movers Ltd (BEML) and mining companies for OTR tyres. “BEML has agreed to take our OTR tyres. We have got trial OTR orders from Hindustan Copper too. Discussion is on with Coal India also,” he added.

Dunlop has applied to National Stock Exchange (NSE) for listing following the verdict of Orissa High Court staying the order of Appellate Authority for Industrial & Financial Reconstruction (AAIFR). The company hopes to be in the dividend list from the next fiscal.
