Integrated Electrical Services Names New Vice President and General Manager of Its Industrial Group

HOUSTON, Jan. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Integrated Electrical Services, Inc. today announced that James A. Robertson, age 54, has joined the Company as vice president and general manager of its Industrial Group, effectively immediately. He will report directly to Michael J. Caliel, IES' President and Chief Executive Officer.
Michael Caliel stated, "Jim is an excellent addition to our team and will play an integral role in expanding our leadership position in the industrial sector. Jim is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leading large industrial organizations and managing field operations."
For the past 20 years, Mr. Robertson held a number of positions at General Electric, most recently as General Manager, Industrial Services, a GE Energy Services company, where he led a $500 million business providing installation, repair and replacement services for high voltage electrical equipment. He also served as General Manager, Inspection and Repair Services, a $1.1 billion GE Energy Services company and global service provider for power generation equipment. He previously held other general manager and manager positions at GE Energy Services and GE.
Mr. Robertson graduated with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering technology from California Polytechnic University and received an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
