Saudi Arabian Airlines to Implement FuelQuest’s Fuel Management System

FuelQuest has announced that Saudi Arabian Airlines will implement FuelQuest’s fuel management system and ZyTax tax determination engine.

The solution, deployed in conjunction with the SAP ERP application, will optimize the airline’s fuel procurement and management processes as the company reorganizes its operations into nine independent subsidiaries.

Khalid Almolhem, director general of Saudi Arabian Airlines, said: “FuelQuest’s automated solution will streamline processes tied to fuel procurement, inventory replenishment, transaction processing and financial reconciliation, enabling us to reduce our fuel-related operating costs. FuelQuest FMS’s proven integration with SAP ERP will provide a platform for expansion as the airline continues to grow and evolve as a privately run entity.”
