Sick Pilots Cause Flight Cancellations
January 24, 2008
MORE than 100 passengers at Glasgow Airport had their New Year’s Day travel plans disrupted due to sickness among airline pilots.
Two British Airways pilots were unable to work due to illness, causing cancellation of the 16:10 Heathrow flight.
A prior northbound service was also cancelled.
A spokesman for British Airways said passengers had been transferred on to alternative flights.
“We apologise for any inconvenience,” he said.
