Output Glitches Put a Brake on Lonmin

LONMIN, the FTSE 100 miner that is the worlds third-largest platinum producer, today admitted sales will not be as high as forecast after a near-20% crash in output in the three months to the end of December. The South Africa-based company blamed processing problems and safety shutdowns. Chief executive Brad Mills said output this quarter will not be much better
