A Perspectives story Sunday incorrectly reported the number of years that Richard Pyle, a reporter for The Associated Press, was in Vietnam. Pyle covered the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1973 and was the news organization’s Saigon bureau chief for the last three of those years.
