Russia, Serbia Ink Energy Deal

Russian officials say they have signed a 30-year, oil-and-gas deal giving Gazprom a controlling interest in Serbia’s Naftna Indsutrija Co.
The deal signed Friday also lets Russia’s Gazprom build the Southern Stream pipeline in Serbia and complete construction of the Banatski Dvor gas storage facility, ITAR-TASS reported Saturday.
The total transaction is estimated to be worth nearly $3 billion, the Russian news agency reported.
