Freshies Food Corporation Recorded More Than 22 Percent Growth Year Over Year With Best Quarter in History

Freshies Food Corporation, a leading producer of all-natural, non-alcoholic drink mixes, announced it achieved 22.7 percent growth in 2007 setting a new annual revenue record. As part of this unprecedented increase, Freshies recorded the best quarterly results in its 14-year history, besting the previous quarterly record by 37 percent and increasing revenue by 51 percent over the same quarter last year.
"These very positive annual and quarterly returns are based on the ever-growing popularity of our quality mixes and expanded availability, especially in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions," said Ian Gustin, President of Freshies. "We have also invested more in marketing while continuing to maintain quality standards for our industry-leading all-natural products."
In 2007, Freshies saw greatly increased sales in several flavors, including Mojito, Pomegranate Mojito, Margarita, and Bloody Mary mixes. The entire product line became available in Massachusetts for the first time through an exclusive partnership with Commonwealth Wine & Spirits. And Freshies Hot Mary Bloody Mary was honored with a first-place finish in the Fiery Foods Challenge 2008.
"Freshies is becoming a truly national brand that is sold in stores from California to Massachusetts and from the State of Washington to Florida," said Steve Barton, Chairman of the Executive Committee for Freshies. "We plan to introduce several new products in 2008, and we will roll out a number of innovative marketing programs throughout the nation. Our goal for the New Year is to make Freshies a household name."
The full line of Freshies 12 mixes and complimentary cocktail-rimming products is available at upscale natural food markets, quality liquor retailers, and fine restaurants throughout the country.
About Freshies Food Corporation
Freshies was born in 1994 when a chef and a bartender created a Bloody Mary mix that rapidly became famous throughout the ski towns of Colorado. Today, privately-held Freshies Food Corporation manufactures a comprehensive line of non-alcoholic mixes that use no artificial preservatives and only fresh ingredients, such as naturally occurring acids like Vitamin C. The suite of all-natural mixes offers the savvy consumer a range of fresh squeezed and prepared flavors -- from Hot or Smooth-and-Mild Bloody Marys to Fresh Lime or Low Carb Margaritas to a full variety of specialty and seasonal drink mixes. Sold globally to retailers, distributors and private-label merchandisers, Freshies mixes deliver the taste sensation that is made possible only through the combination of fresh fruits, vegetables and spices, natural flash-pasteurization and the handmade care and quality that goes into every bottle.
