ECU Silver to Host Global Conference Call to Discuss Updated Mineral Resource Estimate

ECU Silver Mining Inc. (“ECU Silver”) (TSX: ECU) will be hosting a global conference call for all shareholders and interested parties to discuss the recent updated Mineral Resource Estimate.

On Thursday, January 24, 2008 ECU Silver reported the results of its “Updated” National Instrument 43-101 compliant Mineral Resource Estimate on its Velardena District Properties in Durango State, Mexico. As stated in the news release, the results confirm an increase to over twice ECU Silver’s mineral resources and also highlighted a significant Potential Resource.
