FlightView Launches Dispatch 4.7 – With NBAA Special
FlightView, the leading provider of accurate and actionable real-time flight information, today introduced an upgrade to Dispatch, its flagship product for schedulers and dispatchers. The company is also rolling out a special package of discounted pricing and additional services at the show — available only at its booth, #548. The software ships mid-March.
FlightView’s newest version of Dispatch introduces important tools for tracking and monitoring commercial and private flights. It makes the latest flight data and weather information instantly available to schedulers, dispatchers and fixed base operators (FBOs) — to improve how teams coordinate arrivals, departures and ground services.
FlightView’s Dispatch 4.7 tracks commercial and private flights incorporating real-time flight data, radar weather and navigational tools in an easy-to-use interactive graphical display.
Dispatch is relied on by more than 300 business airlines, charter companies, cargo operators and FBOs. In addition to schedulers and dispatchers, operations personnel, customer service employees, and pilots rely on Dispatch’s ability to track inbound and outbound air traffic and last-landed position with minute-by-minute accuracy. This information is particularly critical for aviation operations, including airports specializing in servicing regional jet airlines, corporate jets and charter flights — where ground crews are often staffed only “on-the-clock” — limiting services to small windows of time around actual arrivals and departures.
“Managing flight operations is often a thankless job, but it’s these folks on the front line that play a critical role in ensuring customer service and safety,” said Michael Benjamin, CEO of FlightView. “We’re committed to delivering the critical information they need to do their jobs, in a highly intuitive, user-friendly format at a reasonable cost.”
Improved Usability and Data Enhancements
FlightView’s Dispatch 4.7 improves usability in three important ways:
1. The Bulletin Board lets users upload and keep track of only the flights they care about — on the ground and in the air. It’s easily configurable and also lets users save tracked flights for ongoing tracking.
2. Advanced weather data includes detailed real-time weather maps and time period rotations for weather, greatly improving forecasting of likely weather-related delays.
3. New ability to streamline views, with a customizable menu of information, gives users freedom to select only the information they want — whether it’s as simple as a tail number, or full detailed plane data.
Availability and Pricing
Dispatch 4.7 will be sold directly; more information is available at www.flightview.com and at 1 (617) 787-4200.
