Vistar Acquires Marjack Company

Vistar, a foodservice distributor to the vending-related and independent restaurant market segments, has acquired The Marjack Company, a distributor of candy, snack items and specialty retail products.
George Holm, president and CEO of Vistar, said: “The strategy behind the Marjack acquisition is to strengthen our presence in specialty retail. We see this as an explosive growth opportunity which provides us with multiple distribution options to service any size customer.”
