Now Offering Up to Six Daily Flights to the Enchanted Isle Caribbean Expansion Takes Off in March With Service to Cancun and Santo Domingo

ORLANDO, Jan. 30, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq:JBLU), the airline with the most flights between Orlando and Puerto Rico, today announces it will add a second daily nonstop flight to/from Aguadilla beginning May 1. Customer-favorite JetBlue will this summer offer Orlando travelers a total of six daily nonstop flights to Puerto Rico, including three to San Juan, two to Aguadilla, and one to Ponce. Fares to Aguadilla, on the island's west coast, start at $89(a) each way -- with no extra charge for JetBlue's award-winning travel experience.

"Low fares aren't the only thing fliers have to look forward to this summer as JetBlue expands travel options from Central Florida," said Jim Fuoco, the airline's manager of route planning. "With JetBlue, customers enjoy tasty snacks, lots of legroom, and award-winning in-flight entertainment -- plus a customer service spirit that doesn't cost a dime extra. We invite you to experience all that flying should be on your next trip to Aguadilla, or any one of JetBlue's 17 nonstop destinations from Orlando."

"We are delighted to learn about JetBlue's recent announcement to increase operations to Aguadilla International Airport. Porta del Sol, the western region of the island, is quickly becoming one of the favorite Caribbean destination for U.S. travelers who want to experience amazing natural attributes together with outstanding cultural and historical attractions," said Terestella Gonzalez Denton, Executive director of the Puerto Rico Tourism Company. "We would like to congratulate JetBlue for their bold business initiatives and sound agenda, consistent with our island economic growth strategies aimed to make Puerto Rico the premier destination of the Caribbean."

At Orlando International Airport, JetBlue currently offers daily nonstop service to 15 popular destinations across the United States and Puerto Rico. The airline adds two more destinations in March when it kicks off the only daily nonstop service to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (starts March 6) and Cancun, Mexico (starts March 13) (b). In addition, JetBlue intends to begin service to Bogota, Colombia later this year -- Orlando's only nonstop service to South America -- pending route authority from the U.S. Department of Transportation.

New York-based JetBlue Airways has created a new airline category based on value, service and style. Known for its award-winning service and free TV as much as its low fares, JetBlue is now pleased to offer customers the most legroom throughout coach (based on average fleet-wide seat pitch for U.S. airlines). JetBlue introduced complimentary in-flight e-mail and instant messaging services on aircraft "BetaBlue," a first among U.S. domestic airlines. JetBlue is also America's first and only airline to offer its own Customer Bill of Rights, with meaningful and specific compensation for customers inconvenienced by service disruptions within JetBlue's control. Visit www.jetblue.com/promise for details. JetBlue serves 53 cities with 550 daily flights. With JetBlue, all seats are assigned, all travel is ticketless, all fares are one-way, and an overnight stay is never required.
