Crude Oil Drops Almost a Dollar Per Barrel

A day after the U.S. Federal Reserve cut key interest rates, commodities prices remained relatively stable Thursday on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Crude oil prices dropped 16 cents on the New York Mercantile Exchange Thursday trading, falling to $91.59 per barrel.

Heating oil prices dropped to $2.52 per gallon, down 1.45 cents. Reformulated gas also dropped, down 1.41 cents, to $2.2950 per gallon.

Natural gas prices fell 0.5 cents to $8.069 per million British thermal units.

The national average price at the pump for unleaded rose slightly to $2.986 per gallon, up from Wednesday’s average price of $2.983, according to the AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report.
