ATA Airlines Reports Load Factor of 77.8 Percent for Scheduled Service in January 2008, Up 7.1 Points

ATA Airlines, Inc., today reported that its scheduled service passenger load factor increased 7.1 points to 77.8 percent from 70.7 percent in January 2007. ATA enplaned 133,394 passengers in January, a decrease of 24.8 percent compared with 177,367 passengers for the same period in 2007. Scheduled service traffic increased to 293.2 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs), up 2.4 percent from 286.3 million RPMs recorded in January 2007. Capacity decreased to 376.9 million available seat miles (ASMs), down 6.9 percent compared to 404.7 million ASMs for the same period last year.
As of Jan. 31, 2008, ATA's fleet consists of one Boeing 737-300, 12 Boeing 737-800s, six Boeing 757-200s, four Boeing 757-300s, three Lockheed L-1011s, and three Boeing DC-10-30s.
