AirTran Airways Promotes Peggy Sauer-Clark to Vice President of Inflight Service

ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. , today announced that the company has promoted current director of the flight attendant base Peggy Sauer-Clark to vice president of Inflight Services. Sauer-Clark's appointment will be presented for Board approval at the next scheduled Board meeting.

Sauer-Clark will take on her new role as vice president of Inflight Service after nearly five years of exemplary service with AirTran Airways. She will oversee all aspects of the airline's Inflight department and catering operations.

During Sauer-Clark's tenure at AirTran Airways, the airline's flight attendant work group has grown to more than 2,200. In that time, flight attendant service compliments increased and the number of complaints declined. Additionally, Sauer-Clark plays a key role in maintaining positive day-to-day union relations.

Prior to her work with AirTran Airways, Sauer-Clark served as Director of Labor Relations-Flight at Northwest Airlines where she spent 19 years in every aspect of Inflight operations and leadership. Sauer-Clark earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from University of Wisconsin - Whitewater.
