Northwest Airlines Announces New Nonstop Service Between Minneapolis/St. Paul and Dubuque, Iowa

Northwest Airlines (NYSE: NWA) today announced that it will begin twice daily roundtrip service between its Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP) hub and Dubuque, Iowa starting June 20, 2008.
Beginning June 20, Northwest flight 3161 will depart Minneapolis/St. Paul at 1:45 p.m. and arrive in Dubuque at 2:50 p.m. Flight 3163 will depart Minneapolis/St. Paul at 9:15 p.m. and arrive in Dubuque at 10:39 p.m.
Northwest flight 3162 will depart Dubuque at 3:10 p.m. and arrive at Minneapolis/St. Paul at 4:11 p.m. Starting June 21, flight 3160 will depart Dubuque at 6:50 a.m. and arrive in Minneapolis/St. Paul at 8:12 a.m.
The new Minneapolis/St. Paul-Dubuque service will be operated by Northwest Airlink partner Mesaba Airlines using 34-seat Saab 340B turboprop aircraft.

Dubuque-Minneapolis/St. Paul Service Flight number: Departs: Arrives: NW 3160 6:50 a.m. 8:12 a.m. NW 3162 3:10 p.m. 4:11 p.m.
"Northwest Airlines is pleased to offer customers in Dubuque and the greater tri-state region convenient service to our Minneapolis/St. Paul hub, where they can connect to more than 150 destinations throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia," said Dennis Newman, vice president of network planning and scheduling. "The new service will also provide travelers throughout the world with a convenient link to Dubuque."
The new flights between Minneapolis/St. Paul and Dubuque will be widely available for sale beginning February 16 at www.nwa.com, through travel agencies or by calling Northwest Airlines Reservations at 1-800-225-2525.
