Polish Company Seeks to Extract Oil, Gas in Iran

Warsaw, 11 February: Polish Oil and Gas Company PGNiG signed a letter of intent with Iranian firm Iranian Offshore Oil Company on a joint extraction project in Iran, PGNiG announced in a press statement on Monday.
PGNiG strategy director Rafal Oleszkiewicz told reporters later in the day that the company was interested in complex cooperation, including the extraction of oil and gas there.
“Iran is very much interested in cooperation with Poland due to a big market potential. The interest on the Iranian side is nothing new and it is very large,” Oleszkiewicz added.
