Pinnacle Airlines Inc. Releases January Performance Data

Pinnacle Airlines Corp. (NASDAQ: PNCL) today released capacity and operational results for its Pinnacle Airlines Inc. wholly owned subsidiary for January 2008.

Pinnacle voluntarily discloses its performance data each month, even though disclosure is not required by the Department of Transportation. The following performance information will also be reported in monthly news releases.

During January, Pinnacle achieved a 95.0% completion factor, a decrease of 2.6 points from January 2007 levels. Completion factor reflects the percentage of completed scheduled flights to total scheduled flights. On-time arrivals were at 72.9%, a 5.7 point decrease from the same period in 2007. On-time departures were at 77.8% reflecting a decrease of 7.2 points from the same period in January 2007. On-time arrivals and departures reflect the percentage of scheduled flights that arrive and depart within 14 minutes of their scheduled arrival and departure times. The average length of a Pinnacle flight was 450 statute miles compared to 454 statute miles in January 2007

The term "block hours" refers to the elapsed time between an aircraft leaving a gate and arriving at a gate.
