EnerSys to Expand Missouri Manufacturing Facility

Industrial battery manufacturer EnerSys has announced that it will expand its manufacturing facility in Warrensburg, Missouri, to increase its manufacturing capacity by 50% due to growing demand for products with increased power and reliability.
The plant expansion will take place over a two-year period, increasing the plant’s area from 365,000sqft to 500,000sqft. The plant manufactures EnerSys’s line of thin plate pure lead technology products.
John Craig, chairman and CEO of EnerSys, said: “Our customers are requiring superior performing products to meet their power requirements. This plant expansion will allow EnerSys to support our customers by providing product support, customer service and dependable power.”
