Air Wisconsin Selects UltiPro As SaaS Offering for Core HR Management

Ultimate Software, a provider of human resources, payroll, and talent management solutions, has announced that Air Wisconsin Airlines has selected core UltiPro, UltiPro Recruitment, and UltiPro Performance Management delivered through Ultimate Software’s software-as-a-service model, Intersourcing.

Air Wisconsin is a privately held regional and commuter airline serving approximately 70 cities nationwide, operating regional jet flights as US Airways Express under contract to US Airways. The airline has been using an enterprise resource planning vendor that has scheduled a major upgrade. When Air Wisconsin executives learned about the upgrade, they determined it would be financially and strategically beneficial to investigate more HR-centric providers that deliver complete human resource feature-sets. Air Wisconsin purchased UltiPro in September 2007 and is currently in the process of implementation.

In addition to UltiPro’s breadth of functionality, Air Wisconsin selected UltiPro to help improve service to employees who are spread throughout the United States. Using UltiPro, employees such as pilots and flight attendants who are mobile will be able to make benefits selections, view and update their own work-related personal information, and select training courses online. Not only HR associates, but managers, too, through self-service, will be able to use the Internet to conduct performance appraisals, open job requisitions, fill open positions, and access needed reports about their teams.
