Parsons Selected By Guam Department of Public Works for Program Management Services Contract

Parsons has received a multiyear contract from the Guam Department of Public Works (DPW) to provide program management services for their Territorial Transportation Improvement Program. This program, funded primarily through the United States Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), will improve the quality of life, roadways, and safety on Guam.

The program includes roadway improvements supported by approximately $140 million over the next five years. Parsons will support the DPW and the FHWA in budgeting, program development, program implementation, funding allocation, resource augmentation, and training. When the contract is completed, the DPW will be trained and capable of managing their long-range transportation program.

The Territorial Transportation Improvement Program will not only improve transportation safety by reducing fatalities and injuries, it will also support tourism and the military's mission on Guam.
