Naturally Iowa Projects FY 2008 Sales Will Substantially Exceed FY 2007 Sales

Naturally Iowa, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: NLIA), the world's first and only dairy that is manufacturing bottles made from corn (PLA bottles) in its dairy processing production plant, announced today that the Company is projecting that FY 2008 sales will substantially exceed FY 2007 sales.
"Based on opportunities in our current sales cycle, our recent sales, and increases in orders from current clients, we anticipate that Naturally Iowa will likely record a substantial increase in revenues over last year," said William Horner, President and CEO of Naturally Iowa, Inc.
"Assuming revenues are steady from 2007, the minimum requirements of our supply contract with Archibald Frozen Desserts alone may translate into a 15% increase in sales over 2007. Due to the increased awareness of environmentally friendly packaging and organic and all-natural dairy products, we are garnering tremendous interest not only in our core dairy product lines, but also in our PLA packaging solutions. Opportunities in our current sales cycle range from retail stores to food service in the government, military and universities to private label partnerships."
"Our entire team has worked diligently to bring more sales opportunities into our pipeline and we will continue to aggressively market our products nationwide with Dano Strong, our VP of Sales and Marketing spearheading our efforts," Horner continued. "We believe that just as Dano helped to expand the sales of Ben & Jerry's homemade ice cream, as the nationwide Director of Sales, he will continue to bring value to Naturally Iowa as we expand our sales efforts in 2008. Naturally Iowa has never had as many active sales opportunities as we have right now. If we convert a reasonable percentage of these opportunities into sales, Naturally Iowa would gain significant growth in sales over last year's revenue."
"Based on: (a) new federal government regulations that provide opportunities for green companies, such as the 'Biopreferred Purchasing' program at the USDA; (b) City and County municipalities in the United States considering following the lead of the U.K. and Hong Kong in levying fines against plastic bags and encouraging 'plastic free zones' and (c) increased consumer demand for all natural products and sustainable packaging at the retail level, we believe that PLA Supply Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Naturally Iowa, Inc., is very well positioned for growth in 2008," concluded Horner. "Naturally Iowa expects to be making additional announcements in the near future to keep our shareholders informed of the Company's progress in expanding our sales as we move forward in 2008."
About Naturally Iowa, Inc.
Naturally Iowa, Inc. (www.naturallyiowa.com), operating through its wholly owned owned subsidiary, Naturally Iowa, LLC, processes and produces organic and all-natural dairy products. The Company's main product lines are organic and all-natural fluid milk, ice cream and drinkable yogurt. Naturally Iowa, LLC was founded in 2003 by William Horner and Steve Williams, who partnered to provide an opportunity for family operated dairy farms to make a comeback by adding value to their product. Wishing to place their dairy products in containers that would not harm the environment, Naturally Iowa found a revolutionary type of plastic made from corn that biodegrades in a commercial composting facility. Naturally Iowa, LLC developed a working partnership with Natureworks, LLC, and became the world's first and only dairy to use Natureworks(R) PLA bottling. The acronym PLA stands for "Polylactic Acid." This substance represents the final step in a process, engineered by Natureworks, which utilizes all-natural ingredients from corn to create a compostable material. Organic milk in PLA bottles landed on grocery store shelves in October 2005. Naturally Iowa, Inc. operates its state-of-the-art 28,000 sq. foot dairy processing facility in Clarinda, Iowa.
