Dutch Gold Resources Reports Additional Progress Towards Reopening the Texas Vein of Its Benton Mine in Oregon; Adds Pioneer Jaw Crusher to Its Ore Processing Circuit

Posted on: Thursday, 14 February 2008, 09:00 CST

Dutch Gold Resources, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: DGRI), a developer and operator of proven gold mines and a regional mill in North America, today announced that it has begun access improvements to the Texas Vein and has initiated additional geochemical sampling of the Texas mineralization. These developments follow the company's recent announcement that it had completed preliminary studies to reopen the Texas Vein of its Benton Mine in Oregon following favorable engineering and geological studies.

"Our teams have been very busy during a break in the winter weather in Southern Oregon, which has reported record snowfalls this year. Improvements to the access roads have been made in preparation for further development, which are a strong indication that mining of the Texas Vein could begin in the first half of 2008. Separately, our geology department has undertaken a new sampling program that will help us properly confirm and further target the mineralization reported in historical records," reported Dan Hollis, CEO.

During the month of January 2008, the Company added a Pioneer Jaw Crusher to its ore processing circuit. The Pioneer is a 15 X 36 inch crusher with a 75 HP electric motor. It is capable of crushing between 38 and 100 tons per hour, and is designed to increase the throughput of the company's mines. Fred Wilcox, Mill Superintendent, stated, "This upgrade is consistent with our plans to accelerate ore recovery and maximize production at the mines."
