Mcsi Barra Includes Gazprom Neft in Index

MOSCOW. Feb 14 (Interfax) – MSCI Barra will include Gazprom Neft (RTS: SIBN) in its MSCI Emerging Markets, effective March 1, MSCI Barra said in a press release.
Gazprom Neft’s share prices shot up 9.3% to 144.69 rubles a share on the MICEX Stock Exchange – a level not seen since January 18 – following the news.
