AirTran Airways to Expand Service From Baltimore/Washington

AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, has announced that it will expand its service from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport with new nonstop flights to Los Angeles International Airport in Los Angeles, California.
The company has also announced the return of seasonal service to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in Washington, and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport in Texas. The flights will be operated with a combination of fuel-efficient Boeing 737 and 717 aircraft.
New nonstop flights to Los Angeles will begin on May 6, 2008. AirTran Airways will also renew its seasonal service between Baltimore/Washington and Seattle/Tacoma, as well as Dallas/Ft Worth on May 6, 2008.
Kevin Healy, senior vice president of marketing and planning for AirTran Airways, said: "AirTran Airways is proud to continue our expansion at Baltimore/Washington with these new flights and destinations. We pride ourselves on offering our customers great schedules with amenities they have come to expect, including business class seating and XM Satellite Radio on every flight."
