Questar Says Net Income Grew to More Than $500M
Questar Corp. reported that net income grew by 14 percent to $507.4 million, or $2.88 per diluted share, in 2007.
The increase in 2007 was a result of the record net income by four subsidiaries, the company said this week in a news release.
Questar’s board of directors also approved a 12 1/4-cent per share dividend payable March 10 to common stock shareholders on record Feb. 22. The dividend is the same as the previous quarter. It is the company’s 253rd consecutive dividend.
In the fourth quarter of 2004, net income grew 8 percent to $130.8 million or 74 cents per diluted share, compared to $121.5 million or 69 cents per share for the fourth quarter of 2006.
