Northwest Airlines Announces New Twice Daily Non-Stop Service Between Memphis and Colorado Springs, Colorado

Northwest Airlines (NYSE: NWA) announced today it will offer twice daily nonstop service between its Memphis hub and Colorado Springs, Colo. beginning June 15, 2008. The new service will be operated by Northwest Airlink partner Pinnacle Airlines using 50-seat CRJ-200 aircraft.
Northwest flight 5741 will depart Memphis at 8:30 a.m. and arrive in Colorado Springs at 9:49 a.m. Flight 5738 will depart Memphis at 1:40 p.m. and arrive in Colorado Springs at 2:50 p.m.
Northwest flight 5740 will depart Colorado Springs at 10:30 a.m. and will arrive in Memphis at 1:50 p.m. Flight 5739 will depart Colorado Springs at 3:30 p.m. and arrive in Memphis at 6:36 p.m.
Memphis-Colorado Springs Flight number: Departs: Arrives: NW 5741 8:30 a.m. 9:49 a.m. NW 5738 1:40 p.m. 2:50 p.m.
Colorado Springs-Memphis Flight number: Departs: Arrives: NW 5740 10:30 a.m. 1:50 p.m. NW 5739 3:30 p.m. 6:36 p.m.

"This new service gives our Colorado Springs customers a second option for connecting to the Northwest network with convenient access to more of the destinations Northwest serves."
