Drilling Success for Faroe

FAROE Petroleum has said its North Sea production well Wissey, operated by Tullow Oil, has been successfully drilled with better- than-expected f low rates. The Wissey gas field is 10 kilometres east of the Tullow-operated Horne and Wren platform. Faroe has an 18.75% interest in the field, estimated to contain 5.9bn cubic feet of gas, and its 43 licence interests include seven North Sea gas fields.
