Public Meeting for Great Northern

Great Northern Power Development will hold a second public meeting on its proposed coal gasification mine and coal mine project near South Heart.
The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Days Inn Grand Dakota Lodge and Conference Center in Dickinson.
Company vice president Rich Voss said the company will give an overview of the project, information about mining, water development and impact, as well as environmental and economic information.
Questions will be taken afterward.
Voss said additional public meetings will be scheduled as new information becomes available.
