Verizon Expands Network Services in Broome County

Verizon Wireless has activated a new cell site to expand its coverage and capacity on Route 26 north of Maine, south on Route 26 to Daugherty Road, and east of Maine on East Maine Road to the Binghamton Airport to provide its wireless services for local residents in Broome County in New York, US.
Verizon Wireless has reported that it has invested nearly $44 billion since it was formed to increase the coverage and capacity of its national network and to add new services like BroadbandAccess and V CAST. Regionally the company has invested nearly $2.2 billion into its New England network, including over $292 million in 2007 alone.
Verizon has reported that the network expansion will offer services including wireless data services such as picture messaging, text messaging, V CAST and V CAST Music, ESPN MVP and BroadbandAccess, the company's high-speed wireless broadband network geared toward mobile professionals and business customers.
