No Progress Energy Florida power plants were affected and our system performed as it was designed to perform.

The company’s automated system went into effect to stabilize the statewide supply of electricity and dropped some of our customers from service.

We are in the process now of restoring power and expect a majority of our customers will be restored to service by approximately 3 pm today.

More information on this situation will be shared as appropriate.
