Prishtina [Pristina], 26 Feb – Janina Hrebickova, head of the Czech Office in Prishtina, announced on Tuesday [ 26 February] recognition of Kosova’s [Kosovo] independence immediately after completion of the necessary government procedures for the recognition of new countries. Mrs Hrebickova made this news public during a meeting with President of the Republic of Kosova Fatmir Sejdiu.
