Planalytics Renews License Agreement With Citizens Gas Utility District

Weather intelligence solutions provider Planalytics has renewed its EnergyBuyer license agreement with Tennessee-based Citizens Gas Utility District.
The utility will continue using the EnergyBuyer service to identify opportunities to lower natural gas costs for its customers in the Scott and Morgan counties.
Planalytics EnergyBuyer is a price analysis and buying advisory service used to manage volatility and the increasing financial risk entering energy markets. The service includes access to the EnergyBuyer website with live pricing, buying, hedging and risk management suggestions, accounting and reporting functions, charting and market research tools.
Freddy Bishop, general manager of Citizens Gas Utility District, said: "We are very pleased with the service. Planalytics is always there when I need them. With the EnergyBuyer, we have been able to stay on top of volatile price swings and make hedging decisions that contain costs for our customers."
