Fraport Annual Revenue Up

Fraport Group, the owner and operator of the airports, has reported E2.33 billion for fiscal year 2007, up 8.6% than in 2006, while EBITDA rose by 0.4% over 2006 to reach E580.5 million.
Fraport has reported net profit of E213.7 million in 2007, 6.6% than 2006 net profit. At the group’s Frankfurt Airport (FRA) home base, Fraport has welcomed more than 54 million passengers, an increase of 2.6%. Airfreight tonnage at FRA climbed by 1.9% to 2.1 million metric tons.
Wilhelm Bender, executive board chairman of Fraport, said: “This marks a milestone for timely implementation of our airport expansion plans. Expansion and the urgently needed capacity increases will secure FRA’s future competitiveness in the long term.”
