Deputy Head of National Iranian Oil Company Resigns

Tehran, 3 March: The vice-president of the National Iranian Oil Company, Mohammd Javad Asemipur, has announced his resignation in a letter to the oil minister.
According to Fars, Asemipur asked the minister to accept his resignation from heading and membership in board of directors of the National Iranian South Oil Company, the Iranian Offshore Oilfields Company, the National Iranian Drilling Company, the North Drilling Company, the Caspian Oil and Gas Company and Arvandan and export terminals companies.
One of reasons behind his resignation is said to be his decision to take part in academic activities at Oil Industries University.
Asemipur was appointed as the head of the headquarters for 100th anniversary of Iran’s oil industry a few days ago.
