Wisconsin Energy Named One of the 15 Best Corporate Citizens By Corporate Responsibility Officer Magazine

MILWAUKEE, March 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Wisconsin Energy Corporation has been named one of the 15 best corporate citizens in the United States according to Corporate Responsibility Officer (CRO) magazine's annual ranking of the '100 Best Corporate Citizens.'
To produce the list, CRO evaluates approximately 1,100 publicly held companies in the areas of employee relations, environment, financial performance, governance practices, human rights, lobbying and philanthropy.

CRO compiled the 100 Best list in partnership with IW Financial, a Maine-based research and consulting firm.
Other companies in the top 15 were Intel, Eaton Corp., Nike Inc., Deere & Co., Genentech, Corning Inc., Humana, Bank of America, ITT Corp, PG&E Corp, Dominion Resources, State Street Corp., Dow Chemical Co. and Cisco Systems Inc.
