Alfa Laval to Supply Oil Treatment Solution for Saudi Arabian Plant

Swedish industrial solutions provider Alfa Laval has received an order for a crude oil treatment solution at a gas turbine power plant in Saudi Arabia.
The order is for the Rabigh power plants expansion project which consists of 16 gas turbines generating an extra 960MWe of capacity. The order includes separators, plate heat exchangers and crude oil booster pumps.
Alfa Laval noted that the order value is about SEK100 million. Delivery of the equipment is scheduled for 2008.
Lars Renstrom, CEO and president of the Alfa Laval Group, said: "It is important to notice that Alfa Laval's well-established local service organization in Saudi Arabia is a key factor when a customer places the order."
