Northwest Airlines Announces Special Introductory Fares From Savannah, Georgia

Northwest Airlines (NYSE: NWA) today announced an introductory fare sale to celebrate our newest service from Savannah, Ga. starting at $74(a).

Northwest's sale fares are currently available for purchase at www.nwa.com until March 14, 2008. Travel is valid April 8, 2008, to June 12, 2008. Tickets purchased through Northwest's Reservation call centers will be $10 USD higher than the advertised fare, and $20 USD/CAD higher if purchased at a Northwest airport location.

Savannah Sale Terms and Conditions: Purchase Requirements: A ticket purchased through Northwest's U.S. Reservation call centers will be $10 USD higher than the advertised fare and a ticket purchased at a Northwest airport location in the U.S. or Canada will be $20 USD/CAD higher. These charges will be included in the fare quoted to you. A 21-day advance purchase is required. Tickets must be purchased at time of reservations on nwa.com, within 24 hours of making reservations with an agent or per advance purchase requirements, whichever comes first, but no later than March 14, 2008. Travel Dates: Travel is valid between April 8 and June 12, 2008. Travel Days: Fares shown are valid on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. Fares for travel on other days are slightly higher. Blackout Dates: None. Minimum/Maximum Stay: A Saturday-night stay is required and a 30-day maximum stay is permitted. Stopovers: Not permitted. Upgrades: Not permitted except WorldPerks(R) Elite and Elite companion upgrades. Additional Taxes/Fees: Fares shown are in USD and do not include Passenger Facility Charges of up to $18 USD roundtrip and a September 11th Security Fee of up to $10 USD roundtrip.
