Microplanet Products Deployed By Scottish and Southern Energy

SEATTLE, March 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- MicroPlanet, (MP:TSXV & MCTYF:OTC) a clean technology, energy conservation company, announced today that Scottish and Southern Energy, one of the largest energy companies in the UK has placed an initial commercial order to deploy MicroPlanet products to dynamically manage voltage at optimal levels, saving energy and improving power quality. Deliveries for the initial order of 50 systems, valued at approximately US$ 148,000 are expected to begin in June of 2008.
Scottish and Southern's commitment to begin the commercial deployment process of MicroPlanet products follows successful lab tests and field testing at multiple locations.
