Labor negotiations between British Airways and its pilots' union have reportedly collapsed, raising concerns that spring travel could be disrupted.
British Airways pilots have already voted to strike, but must give a week's notice before doing so,The Times of London reported Saturday.
If strike dates are issued, we will act to protect our customers by applying for an injunction, the airline was quoted by the British newspaper as saying.
The dispute stems from the creation of Open Skies, the new British Airways company that will fly direct from some cities to the United States.
Under the plan, the Open Skies pilots would be paid less that the airline's team of regular pilots.
