EasyJet February Passenger Traffic Up 15%

EasyJet has reported a 14.8% increase in its passengers to 3.03 million in February 2008, compared to 2.6 million in February 2007.

The airline has reported a load factor of 84.6% for the month, up 1.8 percentage points, compared to 82.8% in February 2007. Total company passengers grew 22.4% to 3.2 million due to strong load factors at both EasyJet and GB Airways, compared to 2.6 million in February 2007.

GB Airways has flown 201,257 passengers in February 2008, an increase of 4.4%, compared to 192,825 in February 2007, and load factor was 90.5%, an increase of 7.9 percentage points, compared to 82.6% in February 2007.
