Hyperdynamics Appoints VP of Exploration and Production As an Executive Officer

Hyperdynamics Corporation (AMEX:HDY) announced today that it has filed form 8-K disclosing that Mr. James (Jim) R. Spear, Vice President of Exploration and Production, has been appointed as an Executive Officer. Mr. Spear originally joined the company on November 1, 2007 as the Vice President of Exploration and Chief Geophysicist for SCS Corporation (SCS), the Company’s wholly owned subsidiary. SCS owns the largest oil and gas concession with the largest shelf/slope area along the West African coast. Since his tenure began, Mr. Spear has been re-appointed as the Vice President of Exploration and Production for both SCS and Hyperdynamics Corporation.
