China Southern Airlines Passenger Traffic Up 10%

China Southern Airlines has said that its February 2008 passenger traffic figures stood at 4.65 million, which is up 9.9% year-on-year, China Aviation has reported quoting XFN Asia.
The airline has reportedly carried 53,620 tons of cargo in February 2008, up 1.5% compared to the same period last year. The airline’s passenger load factor was 73.9%, which is 0.8% more than what it was in February 2007. The overall load factor was 61.8%, up 0.5% from last year.
China Southern Airlines reportedly carried 9.12 million passengers; 14.2% more than 2007 and 138, 950 tons of cargo; up 18.9% from 2007, in the first two months of 2008.
