Kerry to Acquire Breeo Foods

Kerry has entered into an agreement to acquire Breeo Foods, a subsidiary of Irish based Reox Holdings, for a total consideration of E165 million.
The proposed acquisition includes a portfolio of dairy and meat product brands. It also includes Breeo Foods’ chilled foods distribution service.
According to the company, the impact of the acquisition on the group is subject to the timing of the completion of the transaction and is not expected to have a material impact on group earnings per share in 2008. The proposed acquisition is subject to regulatory approval.
