Second Annual Entrepreneurial Energy Expo to Take Place at Babson College

WELLESLEY, Mass., March 14 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Energy and Environmental Club at Babson College will host the second annual Entrepreneurial Energy Expo (E3) taking place at the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business on March 27, 2008.
Bringing together today's most prominent New England-based cleantech professionals, E3 will be a day of educational panel presentations and networking opportunities for all individuals interested in learning about and pursuing careers in the clean energy sector. Panel topics to be addressed include Green Building, Massachusetts Cleantech Cluster Growth, Energy Efficiency and Energy Services, Renewables, Green Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital. E3 concludes with a business expo and all conference activities are scheduled to take place in Olin Hall on the Babson College campus.
Presenting the keynote address will be Jesse Fink, Co-Founder and Managing Director of MissionPoint Capital Partners, a private investment firm focused on accelerating the transition to a low-carbon economy. Fink also co-founded priceline.com and served as its founding Chief Operating Officer from inception through IPO. His philanthropic activities are synergistic with the MissionPoint platform and executed through the Betsy and Jesse Fink Foundation, which invests in catalytic initiatives through environmental NGOs and educational institutions. He also serves on the X PRIZE Foundation's Energy & Environment Advisory Council as well as other nonprofit boards/councils concentrating on market based-solutions for environmental problems. He is a graduate of the State University of New York's College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, New York, where he received a B.S. in Environmental Resource Management. Fink also earned an M.B.A. from the School of Management at Syracuse University.
The E3 conference follows a public groundbreaking ceremony for the installation of wind turbine on the Babson College campus scheduled to take place at 10:00 AM on March 27th, 2008.
