AirTran Airways has announced a nonstop seasonal service between Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington, District of Columbia and General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The US Department of Transportation has recently awarded AirTran Airways the right to add one new daily roundtrip flight from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport beginning May 3, 2008. The flights will be operated with the airline's quiet and fuel-efficient Boeing 717 aircraft.
Kevin Healy, senior vice president of marketing and planning for AirTran Airways, said: "AirTran Airways is proud to be one of only two airlines selected by the US Department of Transportation to begin new flights from Reagan National. Our new service will mean lower fares for thousands of passengers flying to and from Washington, District of Columbia."
