Solar Semiconductor Appoints Chief Financial Officer

Solar Semiconductor, a world-class producer of high-quality solar photovoltaic (PV) modules and services, today announced that it appointed Perry G. Hayes as its Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Hayes brings over 32 years of experience in corporate finance in the technology sector, investor relations, financing and capital market activities, M&A activities, risk management and treasury operations. His most recent experience includes eight years at Solectron Corporation as their senior vice president, investor relations and treasurer, where he managed interaction with investors, institutional shareholders, financial analysts and credit rating agencies. Prior to Solectron, Mr. Hayes held senior treasury positions with Dell Computer and Air Touch Communications, Inc. He also has more than 10 years of international finance and banking experience as a vice president with Bank of America, working out of that company's San Francisco, London and New York locations. Mr. Hayes holds a master's degree in international business from the University of South Carolina.
